“Rob Roy” a magnificent 24ft Couta style timber boat with accommodation! A huge v berth and 2 bunks. Originally built by Lacco’s as a fishing boat around 1936 But she was also used to transport sheep and cattle over to French island. She was then found lying in an apple orchard and bought to Paynesville by Dave Shelton who restored her to the beautiful boat she is today. She is made from Kauri and is powered by a reliable Pedders diesel giving her a cruising speed of around 6 knots. She has also just been slipped and painted and a current survey is available. She lies on a swing mooring at present which may be able to be passed on with her. She is a great boat with class and history. She won’t last long.
