Built in 1902 by Peter Tierney (Harbour master)right here in Paynesville as a gentlemen’s cruiser
She is 31ft x 8.4ft by 2ft
Her motor is a 18 hp 2002 Volvo diesel
Giving her a cruising speed of around 7 knots and top speed of 8.5 knots
Her decks are all new QLD Beech.Her hull is NZ kauri and combing rail is King billy pine.
Her ribs have also been replaced. She was on the Yarra for a few years.
Where she was stolen and burnt. So a complete rebuild was undertaken in 1996 "Gowrie” is the boat of dreams.
She oozes pure class from every angle❤️The ultimate to be seen in vessel 👍
